JRW is a simple tool to request a URL and parse its JSON response to display the information in a widget.JSON format should be in Key-Value pairs. My use-case: issue a get to the environment agency river level service and display the river level on the phone, updating every hour. Sadly, I can add the widget but then just get a screen with "Select A URL" and no other UI present.
Thanks. It's amazing there aren't more widgets like this, or at least, I can't find them. This gave me a quick way to have simple info on my phone from my webserver without writing my own widget or using a web browser app.
Amazing. Exactly what it says on tin. Thanks. Suggestion: A) clicking one widget refreshes ALL widgets. Implement that only the clicked URL gets refreshed. B) Add option to adjust the background transparency or color. C) Bug: it DELETES all commas in response. D) Bug: it replaces / with \/

Unusable when there is a lot of data. Would love to be able to format output. The widget doesn't even scroll 😔
